(Wimmers; MCKENNA, Laura Beth (Brown) SAVOIR, Eugene Clifford John Eric D'Amico, born July 18, 1988, passed from this world on August 26, 2016. He is survived by his mother, Susan Heise of Amston CT, his father, John D'Amico of Atlanta GA, his stepmother, Pamela D'Amico, his sister, Katie D'Amico, his brother, Ryan D'Amico, his stepsisters, Sarah and Caroline Jackson and many supportive and loving friends and relatives. Eric loved to write and camp and had a special affinity for music, the Red Sox and the Patriots.

He was a graduate of Manchester Community College and worked with developmentally disabled children before his death. She leaves to mourn her passing but cherish her memory the family to which she was ever devoted; her loving husband of 29 years, Kenneth McKenna, her cherished children, Kenneth, III of Naugatuck and Erin of Colchester; her mother, Dolores (De-John) Brown of Palmyra, VA (she was predeceased by her father, James Brown); James Brown, Jr. (and his wife, Phyllis) of Coram, LI, NY and Michael Brown of Palmyra, VA; and numerous extended family, and friends. Laura worked as a dental assistant, nail technician and most recently as a licensed massage therapist. Laura's greatest joy was taking care of her husband and children. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, and knitting.

She was a true friend to all who knew her. Her infectious smile and personality will be truly missed. The family would like to offer special thanks to the Cardiac ICU staff at Hartford Hospital for their kindness and care, and to the Colchester Hayward Fire Department for their continued support. He was born in New York and has lived in East Hartford for most of his life; he was the son of the late Albert and Mary Savoir and was predeceased by his wife, Claudette Savoir. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be dearly missed by his family. He proudly served in the US Army during WWII and worked for many years in the Trucking Industry. Sue was born in Dayton, Ohio on April 10, 1952 to Henry 0. and Mary Ann Wimmers and was a 1970 graduate of Carroll High School in Dayton.

She is survived by her two children, Dr. Jeffrey Michael Coy of PA and Jennifer Michelle Savini of Middletown, CT; John Coy of FL, the father of her two children; two sisters, Cindy Brooks (Dan) of MA and Patricia Wimmers of MA; a brother, Dr. Larry Wimmers (Sylvia) of MD; three grandchildren, Chaney, Price, and Devlin. Sue was a long time employee of Prudential Health Care in Jacksonville, FL and Aetna in Hartford, CT. She was an avid reader, a hobby she shared with her granddaughter.

In her spare time she enjoyed riding Icelandic horses, kayaking, and volunteering at her grandchildren's schools. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her. 'Doc' SOLTZ, Frances Frances C. Soltz, 96 of West Hartford, died peacefully Saturday August PESTRILLO, Salvatore M. 'Sam' Salvatore M. Clarence J. "Doc" Harrison, 98, husband of the late Arlene (Hamilton) Harrison, of Wethersfield, passed away peacefully August 28, 2016 in Jefferson House of Newington.

He was born in Dighton, MA on February 24, 1918. Upon graduation from high school, Doc enlisted in the US Navy and served during WWII. Prior to his retirement, he was the Manager of Hatry's Electronics. Doc was a bass fiddle player and the Band Leader at Schwab's of Windsor and was a great dancer. He loved a good hot dog or hamburger and a Dunkin Donuts Coffee.

Doc was also an avid follower of the Red Sox, UConn Women's Basketball and Tom Brady. He leaves a son, Paul Harrison of Hartford, Carol Harrison and her spouse Patty Eldridge of Hartford, Joyce Harrison and her husband Paul Swanke of West Hartford and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Besides his wife, he was predeceased by three sons, Philip, Kenneth and Donald and a grandson, Ken Harrison, Jr. The Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home has care of the arrangements. A funeral notice with full details will be published in the Tuesday edition of the Courant and will be available at Donato Zarrilli, 77, of Hartford, loving husband for over 48 years of Elvira (Minichino) Zarrilli, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 27, 2016 surrounded by his caring family at Hartford Hospital. Donato was born on June 8, 1939 in Ca-litri, Province of Avellino, Italy and was the son of the late Giovanni and Rosa (Zarrilli) Zarrilli. Donato moved to Hartford in 1956 and became a Master Barber working for more than 50 years in downtown Hartford. He began his career on Constitution Plaza, then moving to Market Street and finally owning and operating Donato Men's Hairstyling in the Richardson Mall on 940 Main Street. Donato was a member of the Pratolana Society of Hartford and an active member of the Canicattinese Society in Hartford's South End.

Donato was a true fan of Italian soccer. A devout Catholic, he was a communicant of St. Luke's Church of Hartford. Donato could always be found outdoors enjoying the day or tending to his garden. He also enjoyed playing cards and trips to the casino.

Most of all, Donato was a devoted family man, a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed his family surrounding the dinner table on Sundays and Holidays sharing a delicious meal and spending time together. In addition to his beloved Elvira, Donato leaves behind his two devoted sons; Gianni Zarrilli and his wife Rachel of South Glastonbury, and Enzo A. Zarrilli of Hartford; his two adored grandchildren, Julia Zarrilli and Gianni Zarrilli, Jr. of South Glastonbury. In addition he leaves behind his brothers, Vito Zarrilli and his wife Rose, of Rocky Hill, Benny Zarrilli and his wife Lucy of Wethersfield; and his sister; Miche-lina Rizza of Hartford; three brothers-in-law; Antonio Minichino of Wethersfield, Gerardo Minichino of Hartford, and Salvatore Minichino of Italy; a sister-in- law, Maria Bozza of Venezuela; many nieces, nephews, former customers and dear friends.

Funeral services will begin on Tuesday (August 30th) at 9:15 a.m. from the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Luke's Church, 66 Bolton Road, Hartford. com. "Sam" Pestrillo, 82, of Windsor, died on Aug. 4, 27, 2016 with family and friends by her side. She was the beloved wife for 44 years, of the late Merrill R. Soltz.

Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of Nathan and Ida (Klein) Cohen. She graduated with honors from Weaver High School, Class of 1938. She worked at Newberry's Dept. Store during High School and then after graduation worked for Arrow Hart Hagelman manufacturing both in Hartford. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and aunt.

After starting a family, Frances became a full time homemaker. She was a long time member of Congregation Agudas Achim in West Hartford. She is survived by two sons: Marshall Soltz of Washington, D.C., and Ronald A. Soltz of West Hartford, brother Howard Cohen and his wife Leah of Potomac, Maryland, and four nieces and many dear friends. Some of her longtime friends were from childhood and high school years.

A funeral will be Tuesday August 30, at 1 1 at the Agudas Achim Synagogue, 1244 North Main West Hartford with Rabbi Chagi Rubin officiating. Interment will follow at the Agudas Achim cemetery, Cleveland extension, off of Tower in Hartford. Following interment the family will receive friends back at the Agudas Achim synagogue for a meal of condolence. The family will observe Shiva at Frances' home. Flynn, 92 of Unionville, passed away on August 26, 2016 and is reunited with his beloved wife, Pat and his son, Robert. He was born in Hartford and resided his entire life in Unionville. He worked for Allstate Insurance Company but was self-employed for most of his career after establishing Insurance Claim Service Company in 1969 where he worked until his retirement. He served in the Army in World War II and also attended Clemson College. Throughout his life he was active in music with an affinity to Tommy Dorsey and big band swing, and was considered a virtuoso trombonist.

In the mid 1960's, he started the Milt Flynn Orchestra, which became popular in the local area and played at several venues across Connecticut for many years. In the early 1970's they were one of the first performers at Winding Trails. Milton was also an avid New York Yankees and New York Giants fan. He will be forever cherished and missed by his three surviving children, George Flynn of Kent, David Flynn of Plainville and Judith Flynn of Unionville. He was a loving grandfather and will be sorely missed by Patrick Flynn and his wife, Elizabeth of Minneapolis, MN, Lisa Ricker and her husband, Ray of Plainville, CT and Steven Popp of West Hartford, CT.

Sam joined the Navy while still in High School, he loved the Navy especially the traveling. After 4 years he returned to New Britain, working at odd jobs but he surprised us when he joined the service again. Much later he worked at Ollie's steak house, later he worked at Dino's Restaurant in West Hartford. He became a great bartender. His last job was at the VFW in Windsor.

Windsor became his permanent home. He left many great friends. He was a wonderful man who loved people. He leaves to morn him in sister Lucille Naples of Southington, his nephews John M. Naples of New Britain, 2 nieces Sue Hay-ward and Lisa Naples of Plantsville, he also leaves his special friend Mitch Holt who was like a brother to him.

(Reilly) McCusk-er, died Saturday, August 27, 2016 from injuries sustained in a cycling accident. He was born May 15, 1952 in New York, NY, son of Florence (Haar) McCusker of Sarasota, FL and the late Kingsbery McCusker.

He had lived in New Providence, NJ prior to moving to Sims-bury 24 years ago. Stephen was a graduate of Fordham University, Class of 1974, and the University of Wyoming at Laramie in 1975, having received his Masters Degree in Communications. Mr. McCusker was the H.R. Manager for Bozzuto's in Cheshire for many years.

Stephen enjoyed biking, hiking, traveling, reading and watching the N.Y Rangers. Besides his loving wife of 28 years and his mother, he is survived by his son, Stephen K. McCusker, Jr. and his wife Amanda of Sims-bury. He was predeceased by his brother, Clinton F.
