It’s a pretty decent school. Party’s are okay, yet the studies match that same energy. Different types of people allowing a sense of difference while passing by campus. The food is awful. It’s edible but brown dining hall gives stomach aches:( the Highsmith food options are not bad, yet the repetitive food makes you loose your appetite. Teachers are pretty cool! The campus is small which is awesome for certain people.

Overall, I had a great time on campus. I loved my classes and my professors. They were innovative and fascinating people. Food was good but dorms could have been better. It was great to walk and bike around the campus and the city. Beautiful place to live. My only complaint is the lack of professional resources.

As a current freshman attending UNC-Asheville, I really enjoyed the time I have spent here so far. The class sizes aren't so big that you get overwhelmed and the professors are attentive, understanding, and helpful. The community and people here are also great, everyone is very welcoming and friendly that allows for an environment that is really chill and gives good vibes. The school being in the mountains is also a plus. For things I'd like to see change, I have some gripes with the gym. As a person who works out frequently, the gym could use some more equipment and maybe some more space. In addition, the food can sometimes be meh but the dining hall has been receptive of changes the student body wants to see made. If you are thinking of coming here definitely try to get a tour and come in person, and get a feel for the atmosphere. This school gives off a certain vibe and is more suited for certain people.
