The Kiss used to be named Wicked networks would flip their lids for the rights to air Disney movie classics; but Walt Disney Productions makes millions and millions of bucks by re-releasing such great childrens' films as "Pinnochio," "Bambi," "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs," "Song of the South," etc. about every six or seven years. Thus, they have a new crop of kids whose parents are eager to take their young ones to movies they enjoyed when they were young. NOT RELATED Is the blonde girl (last name is Duffy) who plays Julie on "The Bob Newhart Show," any relation to Patrick Duffy of M.S. Hillsboro The actress' name is Julie Duffy and she portrays Stephanie on "Newhart." She is not related to Patrick Duffy.
KISS KISS- You printed in a recent Ask Showcase column that Jay Jay French of Twisted Sister was never in Kiss and that Kiss was never called Wicked Lester. In the November Circus rock magazine, an article on Jay Jay French says prior to Twisted Sister Jay Jay French was in a band called Wicked Lester. which later metamorphosed into Kiss, I've never had anything printed in Ask Showcase and I've tried many times.
