The 17 best lounges in Rotterdam (2024)

The Euromast observation tower offers 360 degree views from its top floor suites, including of Rotterdam's harbor. Hotel guests can enjoy a luxurious breakfast in bed here, and take in the sights from a viewing platform by staying in one of the two suites.

Might have been a little silly to go here on the coldest and rainiest day, but was an excellent way to wrap up our time in Rotterdam. The panoramic elevator is a must see to truly take in all the city has to offer, and I really recommend going at night. The lights are incredible! Do be mindful of the outer walks as the floors are made of brick that wiggle and make things a little scary!

Great views, no queues. Quick and easy to do. Nice park at the bottom.Water taxi stop right beside it.A bit pricey (€12) for a short experience(1 hour) but worth doing.

Great viewpoint in Rotterdam. A first elevator brings you to the intermediate terrace and for extra 7 €, you can enter the rotating cabin that takes you to the top of the tower. Thrilling!

I have vertigo but my date REALLY wanted to go up there. If you have vertigo yo *can* go all the way, just make sure to use the elevator from the observation deck by the restaurant to the lift that takes you to the top, the other option is taking the steps and I barely managed to go up. Still, was lucky enough to get there by sunset and the views are breathtaking. The fact you can choose to block the view on the floor was a nice touch. Amazing place. Loved it.

Except for the panoramic restaurant and the rooms, where you can stay, Euromast is offering other activities as well. The rotating platform of the tower is giving you an incredible 360 view of Rotterdam. It can be reached by an elevator from the panoramic platforms, which are at 98m. and 112m. hight. The elevator then takes you to a hight of 185m., where you sit and enjoy the view. Actually, when you go on the rotating platform it will rotate 360 degrees twice, so, if you missed something the first time, you have one more chance to see it. There is also rappelling from the lower panoramic platform, which by itself is quite an adrenaline rush. It's worth visiting.

Well worth a visit. Cheap prices for such a wonderful view.We went when it was a bit windy and overcast but still got to see fantastic views they were breathtaking. Had a few fun photo opportunities.Inside is the most exquisite restaurant with again fabulous views. All in all I highly recommend a visit.

Came here for a high tea on the first day they reopened. Service was amazing, our servers were absolutely lovely! ❤️ Food and tea selection were great! 😊 We couldn't access the top tower, but the view was stunning from the lower observation decks.

Pretty cool tower in Rotterdam giving views in all directions. You can see all the city as well as the port. Was good even though it was overcast. Great walk in the park getting there. Nice restaurant as well!

Euromast offers breathtaking panoramic views of Rotterdam that are simply mesmerizing. The best time to visit is during sunset, when the city is bathed in a warm golden glow. The sight is truly unforgettable. The tower provides an unparalleled vantage point to admire the city's skyline and surrounding landscapes. A must-visit for any visitor to Rotterdam.Euromast is an iconic observation tower located in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Standing at a height of 185 meters, it is one of the tallest structures in the city. Built in 1960, Euromast was originally constructed for the Floriade, a horticultural exhibition. Over the years, it has become a symbol of Rotterdam's modern skyline and a popular tourist attraction. The tower offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy stunning 360-degree views of the city and its surroundings, making it a highlight for both locals and tourists alike.

The view is amazing but the experience is not well organized. You buy an upgrade ticket for ride to the top and reserve a time, but when you get there you need to wait 45min in a line at the deck in the middle of the tower with a crazy wind

Great views of Rotterdam and extra can be paid to go all the way to the top of the spire in a sat down spinning section. There's a glass floor option with this that can be toggled on and off at.your feet if you're not a fan. A good experience but can be very busy with queues. Recommended to book a timeslot before coming and go walk in the park beforehand. You will have to queue for the top lift bit no matter what, no time slot booking for that to walk on.

Great view from the platform. Also great experience in the euroscoop cabin! And even better, if you wanna go to the restaurant, make sure you go when it's getting dark. The city gets beautiful with all the lights!

Transmitter mast with an observation deck and restaurant about 100m above ground level. There is an even higher viewing area open in good weather. There are great views of the city which is a 25 minute walk. For tower aficionados this is a low tower and doesn't revolve or anything but they do have abseiling in summer. It does also have a visible wobble in bad weather. For me it's a great place to relax for an afternoon in the restaurant taking in the view. Although I would have to say the restaurant service is not the best. There are also some hotel rooms available apparently.

Went up the mast to enjoy the view with my family. A big success to take the elevator to the top and see everything.Definitely worth the trip so it can only be recommended!

Jakob H — Google review

You literally pay for the view only. We were served more than 1hour later after we arrived and order. I know it's a fancy restaurant but 20€ for a smaller than my hand lamb fillet is outrageous.

Dimitrios K — Google review

Great view and very easy to get on top. Unfortunately the upper part of the tower is under renovation so we weren't able to get the full experience.Nevertheless you have a wonderful view, as well as a restaurant, giftshop, little bar etc...

If you want to show the city and its history to a friend or to anyone, then this place is the best place to visit; you can show them all parts of the city of Rotterdam and they can understand how the city is divided naturally by the water 💦💦They can take good memorial photos and videos with amazing backgrounds and views. But,there are few things to consider when you are coming to visit the Euromast, check the weather, because if it's raining or too much wind, you won't enjoy it,and sometimes they will not allow you to go to the top if it's bad weather. Also, if you are visiting between October and April, it might be a little cold, so bring a jacket with youEnjoy!!

We bought the eruoscoop (you get to go all the way to the top in a glass elevator) it was really nice, we could also stop at the halfway point to look and take pictures before going all the way up. The line to go on the lift went fairly fast and when we left through the gift shop I accidentally left my wallet but once I realized and came back for it, it had already been put away in lost and found! :) very nice staff

Must visit of Netherlands trip. The single moment which captures the essence of river front, speeding boats, greenery, Dutch architecture and the planned roadways...all a single glance with a 360 degree bird view. When you come down, do not forget to take a lazily walk in the adjacent park.

We had Priscilla as our waiter. I couldn’t recommend her enough! She was incredibly attentive, thoughtful and sweet. Will be coming back here soon!

Something you just have to do when in Rotterdam! Use the app that you can download to learn how it all happened. Take the lift all the way to the top of the spire. It costs extra but it's a good ride you will see 360 covered, no wind swept hair!! Over Rotterdam at 185 metres high, the glass floor can be controlled to keep it white... So you DO not see underneath you. It's all very entertaining and interesting on a good day!!

It have a good view to the city. It’s cheaper if you buy the tickets online. I went to the top of the tower. The elevator(?) to the very top part has floor that turn transparent after you reach the top, there was also a button to turn it back to opaque if you want. That’s so cool!

S C — Google review

Fantastic experience if you are in Rotterdam and love a good view like me.I would recommend buying the full ticket price as you get to go right to the top, which we didn't do. But the standard one was fine and still amazing views. Felt like the tower needed a bit of TLC and a revamp. Was very quiet which makes a change when going to places like this.Would recommend, friendly staff too.Solid A****

I bought ticket at the site and paid 26 euros (till the top 360 view point), (online this is just 19 euros). But I was not informed that the platform has not been rotating for a week, Ideally this should have been informed before purchase of the ticket instead of being told when already inside. It was no fun to see it without rotation, while bumping into people to get the 360 degree view. Or the ticket price should have been discounted.

Excellent view around beautiful Rotterdam recommended for anyone visiting the city. Buy tickets in advance to scan and head straight in and up the elevator for wonderful panoramic views of Rotterdam. We bought the Euroscoop ticket for a few extra Euros which was an interesting seated elevator ride all the way up to the top. It doesn't add a significant extra view depending on where you're seated but still worthwhile. There's also a nice little cafe at the bottom for a coffee at the end of the ride.

What goes up must come down. Best view over Rotterdam. And a exciting place for a breakfast. The restaurant is pretty nice and food is ok. Combined with the view a perfect breakfast experience. Before you leave make sure you take the elevator to the top. Avoid rainy days. It’s really worth to enjoy the view on a sunny day.

I love this place, the restaurant is amazing really good service and delicious food. An excellent view of the city.Although I did not stay at the hotel, I was able to enjoy this wonderful architecture from the entrance to the top floor where I lived the based jumping experience, at about 341 feet high, then a delicious dinner in its beautiful and elegant restaurant and to finish this day , climb to the tip of the antenna spire which is about 606 ft high.

Great experience within the Euroscoop tower. It gives a seamless 360° rotational view of Rotterdam with a glass floor. The tickets are affordable. It's a must do when you visit Rotterdam. However, the restaurant is a bit pricey but worth it.

Today I walked 1:30 p.m. In rainy ,the ticket staff gave advice that didn't care. The ticket price on the web page is 12€, but if you go to the counter it's 25€. If anyone comes here Recommend traveling to other places. Because the staff doesn't welcome Asian people.bye

There were only a few people with us when we went on a weeknight, granted, it was unusually cold. The location is a little out of the way from other tourist attractions, but not too far where it’s not walkable. Be sure to check the weather as the views are actually pretty good on a clear night. It was really windy so we had to take shelter a couple of times to warm up.

Tim L — Google review

The view is breathtaking although it's a bit too expensive for my taste: 19 euro per person to get to the observation platform, and more if you want to go higher from there on Euroscoop. However, I think you should go there at least once :)

O O — Google review

Amazing views from the top level of the Tower. Though it's good to check weather beforehand, so you don't suffer from extreme wind or rain there. This way you can spend more time there, chill and enjoy the views

Aleksandra Z — Google review

Cool views from the top. Very windy up there! You have to pay extra to take the final lift right to the top. It was at max capacity when we went so suggest booking in advance.€18 per adult without the top lift extra.
