The Silver Copper Crossing opened to significant fanfare on Friday. The bridge had been decades in the making and was culmination of a strong partnership between Clark County and Bullhead City.

Despite the heat, some brave souls walked the length of the 724-foot bridge from Arizona to Nevada during the Silver Copper Crossing's opening ceremony.
